Looks like Leonardo, neé Selex is the EU choice for fighter radars
ground and sea based S-band radars I am thinking (Sea-)Giraffe 4a and 8a, also in flat panel versions. They don't have the fire control abilities of TRS-4D, but that, after all, is software.
Same for AEW radar, only option is Erieeye AFAIK

Now I cannot find the piece but a Danish comapany has been working on using AESA technology matched to mechanical scanning systems to produce some interesting results. Cheaper than full blown AESA, but very capable of high precision and long range..... I got the impression it was lighter than full blown AESA too.....
Another case for a EU DARPA.

but why? Full AESA is the name of the game ... And we have some excellent exam,ples, with TRS-4D probably being the best

Size, weight and power requirements. For a small lightweight TIR-type set the Danes have a interesting development, as it is for giving near AESA performance, for a much lighter system.
